Dear readers, welcome to our first GIGA blog article! Today, we’re going to answer the question: “How long does it take for my vehicles to arrive in East Malaysia?”

Our vessels make 4 sailings a month. All voyages make a call Kota Kinabalu Port and Kuching Port, with one calling at Labuan Port per month. Return voyages from Kuching to Labuan and Kota Kinabalu are also available.

Our vessel has the capacity to carry 5,430 units of cargos (vehicles only). Basically, the transit time from Port Klang to Kota Kinabalu by vessel itself will take an estimated 2 days and 18 hours, subsequently from Kota Kinabalu Port to Kuching Port it will take 2 days, and up to 30-40 additional hours to unload the vehicles from the vessel onto the yard.

The whole chain from point A (Port Klang) to point B (East Malaysia) will take a minimum of 5 days (and a maximum of 7 days) to arrive, including the time taken to discharge the cargo from the ship onto the wharf. However, this is subject several factors, aome of which are including but not limited to weather, sea level, the speed of the vessel itself and the discharge congestion at the port.
